Business Week ran an article last week on the Drucker inspired nature of Obama's campaign win. The campaign used, or at least seemed to answer, Peter Drucker's five questions, and to great success. Great management advice is usually rooted in economic, psychological, and sociological understanding (all of which I think Drucker appreciated).
